Note that the software requires a 2.8 license key to operate, which has been sent out to all customers eligible for a free upgrade. If you need a 2.8 key immediately the demo license is 2.8 enabled, or please contact the sales office.
New Features
- The most requested feature in WPT is support for Dynamic Fields, including form fields, and URL parameters. Configuration for automatically transmitted fields (such as ASP.NET's __VIEWSTATE) are now consolidated into a single easy to use wizard for allowing WPT to emulate a user's behavior.
- Test cases can be repeat from any arbitrary URL, allowing the simulation of long test cases in which the user logs in, and then repeats transactions throughout the day. Now the login part of the test case will only play once, and the rest of the test case is repeated.
- Generate more virtual users per computer. The default maximum number of virtual users that can be simulated on new computers has been upgraded to 1000.

Partial Installation
If you have a previous release version of 2.8 you can upgrade to this release by copying the file Trainer.jar into "<INSTALLDIR>/lib".
