Maintenance and Support

Included with the Web Performance Suite™ is a Basic Maintenance/Support Package, and the customer also has the option of upgrading to a Premium Maintenance/Support Package. See the table below for a description of the differences.

New versions of Web Performance Suite™ are released approximately twice a year. The price of upgrading to each new version over the period of a year is twice the price of a Premium Maintenance/Support Contract over the same time period. And not only do you receive the upgrades, but it includes priority phone and email support as well.

Bug Fixes Bug fix releases are provided free for the version purchased until the next major release. The customer can download any release, beta version, or may receive a custom patch
Upgrades Not included The customer can upgrade to any version published during the year long term of the Premium Maintenance/Support Contract

Release Support Period

There are two elements to supporting a release, the email and support services for answering questions, and bug fixes and patches. The support team is happy to field questions about all of our releases, although it becomes more and more difficult to remember the details of a release that was published years ago.

The second aspect of supporting a release is fixing bugs and issuing patches. The current release is always supported by fresh patches released as needed, usually about once a month. Once a new version is released patches cease to be released on previous versions. Customers who wish to always have the latest versions are urged to purchase a support plan.
